This is a reaction to this post from Sebastiaan (Help us make it big on Digg!), which, by the way, I interviewed in the last English Pomcast. After reading his post I posted a commented but his blog would take out the video So here is my comment, this time with the video.
Somebody please remind Steve Jobs what he said during its Commencement address in Standford in June ‘05. Full transcript here. Watch this video (after the jump) at about 3′20″…
Wow. There’s no other word coming out of my mouth when I think about what just happened with my Dell 2707WFP (look for it using the “StuFF mc (loves) Dell Monitors” link on the left…) being literally *replaced* for 1 USB port not working properly. It blows me away how the whole process was easy… Read on… Read the rest of this entry »
As a follow up to our last french pomcast, I found that linked on the Wikipedia entry for Guy. Dear Guy, if you read this, you’re the next on my list for my next trip to SF The full speech is here.
At least let me think it’s true. Since the begining (may 2005), I had a catch-all on pomcast.com, which means if you wrote to whatever-email-you-want@pomcast.com, I would be the one to get it. A lot of websites have that set this way, to be sure not to miss any important email. It turns out, there’s probably 0,01% important email being sent to an unvalid email, and the rest, guess what, it’s all about some pills that are supposed to be good for me and/or my wife. It’s not like I’m getting one spam E-mail a day, but more like 20 or more So today is a big day, as I turn my catch-all OFF! If you write to iam-not-gonna-get-those-emails-anymore@pomcast.com, you’ll get an a nice answer telling you I think you’re a spam, and that you should use my real email (guess what it is…) or the contact form. By the way, most of the pomcasters have their own email address also, so you should try to write them. Now we’ll see if it worked!
As a reply to David Weiss, does it qualify me? To be really honnest, I was not at this conference I was not even aware that Macs exists at that time, I got it from a friend, but this is one of my favorite T-Shirts.
Even tough Apple is cutting our earnings by 0.5% out of the already tiny 3%, I decided to not earn any money out of all the things you can buy on the “shop“.
I think Spreadshirt’s prices are already pretty high and after all, the goal is that the world speaks about us, so that we reach more listeners who click on the Apple banner and makes me millionaire (in my wildest dreams…) but first and foremost makes us more credible against advertisers…
And as if was not enough, Spreadshirt is offering you 20% until March 30th, with the code “EASTER2K8“. So go ahead, and order! For the occasion, I made a new T-Shirt and bag, specially dedicated to Microsoft
Apple Store have taken the decision to make a change to commission levels on their affiliate programme.
From the beginning of Sunday 9th March every affiliate’s commission will drop by 0.5% from its current level.
If you have any questions regarding this change please contact me.
Regards,
Now “I have a dream”, like Martin said. And that one would be, that Apple one day becomes a company with respect to their supporters. So it’s official, from now on, when you click on the banners to buy a mac, I get a few bucks less And that sucks, Apple.
Is is funny or pathetic, that Steve (the other one, you know, “monkey dance” Steve) did it again, when Apple is starting to be “the new Microsoft” (for Developers)?
